Terms of Service

Last updated: October 12, 2026

These terms explain how CurbMailers works, what you pay for, and what each of us is responsible for. Please read them before you order. If anything is unclear, email support@curbmailers.com and we will explain.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Powered By Piland LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company, doing business as CurbMailers ("CurbMailers," "we," "us"). They apply when you use curbmailers.com, sign in to a dashboard, use the free preview tool, or order a postcard campaign. If you use CurbMailers for a business, you agree for that business and confirm you can do so.

If you and CurbMailers agree on a written quote or invoice for a campaign, that quote or invoice also applies. Where the quote or invoice and these terms differ, the quote or invoice controls for that campaign.

The service

CurbMailers plans and runs done-for-you postcard campaigns for home service businesses and the agencies that work with them. Each card can show the recipient's own home in a generated rendering of the kind of work the business offers. We prepare the list, check addresses, create the renderings, review every card, print and mail the cards through the US Postal Service, and report delivery events and QR code scans. The scope, size and timing of each campaign are agreed in a written quote before anything mails.

The free preview tool at /try makes a sample rendering for one address. It is a demonstration and does not include any mailing.

CurbMailers serves businesses in the United States and mails only to US addresses.

Eligibility and accounts

  • CurbMailers is for business use. You must be at least 18 to use it.
  • Give us accurate information about you and your business, and keep it up to date.
  • If we give you a dashboard login, keep it secure and do not share it. You are responsible for activity under your login.
  • Use the free preview tool for your own home or your own business. Do not use it in bulk or to get around its daily limits.

Pricing and payment

Campaigns start at 1,000 postcards, from $2 per card. The price, what is included, any extras such as call tracking, and when and how you pay are as stated in your written quote or invoice. Agency and volume pricing are quoted separately.

Prices are in US dollars. If any taxes apply, we will show them before you pay. If you ask us to build or buy a mailing list, it is billed as stated in your quote or invoice.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations, changes and refunds are handled as stated in your written quote or invoice. Once cards are printed, they cannot be refunded, because they are already in production. A list we buy for you is final once bought.

If you believe something went wrong on our side, email support@curbmailers.com and we will look into it with you. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank.

Previews and approval

A person approves every card before it prints. Our team reviews every card, and you approve the previews before your campaign mails.

  • Check your business name, phone number, website, offer and the images carefully. Approved cards are printed as approved.
  • The images on the cards are generated renderings. We use publicly available photos of each property only as a reference, and we never print or mail the original photos. The renderings show what the work could look like. They are not photos of finished work, quotes, or promises about a specific result. Every card carries a short note saying so.

Your responsibilities

When you use CurbMailers, you agree that:

  • You have the right to use every mailing list, logo, photo and other content you give us, and our use of it to make and mail your cards will not infringe anyone else's rights.
  • The information on your cards is accurate, including your business name, contact details, licenses you mention, and the offer.
  • You will honor the offers printed on your cards.
  • You will follow the laws and rules that apply to your business and your marketing, including any licensing, advertising and privacy rules. These requirements vary by state and locality, and you are responsible for knowing the ones that apply to you.
  • You will not mail people who have asked you not to contact them.
  • You will use CurbMailers only to promote your own legitimate business, or your clients' businesses if you are an agency.

Not allowed

  • Harassing, threatening or targeting a specific person.
  • Deceptive, misleading or unlawful content or offers.
  • Pretending to be another business or person.
  • Personal or non-business mailings.
  • Trying to get around usage limits, reverse engineer the service, or overload it with automated requests.

Our right to decline

We may decline, skip or remove any card, image, address, offer or campaign, and we may pause or end our work with you or limit use of the preview tool, if we believe it breaks these terms, puts recipients or our service at risk, involves fraud or a disputed payment, or cannot be produced to a usable standard. If we decline cards before printing, you are not charged for them.

Mailing lists we provide

Lists we build or buy for you come from third-party data providers and are licensed for use in the campaign they were bought for. Do not resell or share them, or use them for other mailings, unless we agree in writing. List data comes from outside sources, and we do not promise it is complete or current. We check addresses before mailing and remove ones that cannot receive mail or that we cannot show.

Printing, mailing and delivery

Cards are printed by our print partner and delivered by the US Postal Service. Dates we show for printing and arrival are estimates. Delivery depends on the postal service, and we are not responsible for postal delays, lost mail, or cards a recipient chooses not to read.

Tracking and reporting

  • Each card carries a unique QR code, and we report scans in your dashboard. A scan shows that someone looked at the card online. It is not a lead, an inquiry or a booked job.
  • Call tracking is optional and is included only when agreed in your quote. When it is used, we report the caller's number and the time and length of each call. Calls are not recorded.
  • Reports use the tracking data available to us and any sales results you share. They may not capture every response.

No guarantee of results

Response depends on your audience, offer, timing, follow-up and many things outside our control. We do not promise any response rate, number of scans or calls, leads, jobs, revenue or return on your spending, and nothing on our website, in the app, or from our team is a promise of results. Any campaign suggestions we give reflect common direct mail practice and are not professional advice.

Intellectual property

You keep ownership of your logo, brand, lists and other content you give us. You give us permission to use that content to make, print, mail and report on your campaigns, and to show it in your dashboard and reports.

We own the CurbMailers service, software, templates, designs and brand, including "Direct mail with curb appeal™." You may use the finished card images from your campaigns to promote your business. You may not copy or resell our templates or the service itself.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve CurbMailers without owing you anything.

Disclaimers

We work hard to make CurbMailers reliable and useful, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not stated in these terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error free, or that every address will have a usable photo or image.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, CurbMailers is not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, or indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, even if we were told they were possible.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the campaign that the claim relates to. Some states do not allow certain limits, so some of these may not apply to you.

Your responsibility for claims

If someone makes a claim against CurbMailers because of your lists, your content, your offers, or your breach of these terms or the law, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, including legal fees.

Ending our work together

You can stop using CurbMailers at any time, subject to your quote or invoice for campaigns already in progress. We may pause or end our work with you as described in "Our right to decline." Sections that by their nature should continue, such as payment for cards that mailed, intellectual property, disclaimers, limits of liability and governing law, continue after our work ends. We keep records as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please email support@curbmailers.com so we can try to resolve it informally.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the "Last updated" date at the top, and for significant changes we will let customers know by email or in the app before they take effect. Changes do not affect orders you have already placed. Using CurbMailers after a change means you accept the updated terms.
